I’m excited to share my first video as part of my cybersecurity journey with SkyBearSecurity! In this introduction to information security, I explain the core principles of protecting data—confidentiality, integrity, and availability—and how they form the foundation of digital defense. This video marks the beginning of my path toward building stronger cybersecurity awareness and skills. 

2nd Skybear introduces the essential concepts of information privacy, defining it as the individual's right to control personal data release. The text distinguishes between two core methodologies for achieving this control: Privacy by Design (PbD), which embeds privacy features early in the planning phase, and Privacy Engineering, which implements and manages these features throughout a system’s lifecycle. Furthermore, the video outlines key objectives for privacy engineering—including predictability, manageability, and disassociability—while clarifying that privacy is a distinct discipline from security, even though the two disciplines overlap in their need for data protection.
